- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 5 walnuts
- 1/2 banana
- 1 handful of frozen blueberries
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp flax seeds
- 12 oz. of liquid (water, alternative milk, etc.)
Blend in a blender, vitamix, or nutribullet. This is a great breakfast with plenty of nutrients for a good start. Coconut oil provides medium chain fatty acids; walnuts are plant based omega 3’s. The protein will help balance your blood sugar throughout the day and keep you satisfied. The flax, blue berries, and banana, contain fiber and antioxidants.
You can add any variety of vegetables and fruits. Try kale, chard, apples, strawberries, black berries, watermelon, etc.
